Ke ʻAno: It's Lit Style Special Feature
Nā Kumuhana: Labor Practices; Acquisitions; Hoʻolele Leo; Things That Flow
Ka Hōʻuluʻulu Manaʻo: Dear ITSLITWITHPHDJ,

My name is Sadie Rosen. I work sometimes with OJPL Publishing (sometimes I work for them). We are exploring the idea of exporting our audio books, which at this point do not yet exist exactly maybe. What sorts of delivery mechanisms do you recommend (and/or offer) for the various books that you like to hear over the audio waves? So far, I am told we have explored having our authors read sections of a book out loud (at the various OJPL library branches). Perhaps a chapter at a time over a period of weeks? Please let us know if you offer any services, or, if you could give advice to another Mānoa-based audio book publishing company. Mahalo plenty.

Me ke aloha,
Sadie

P.S. Oh my goodness, things sure are moving fast. I have just been informed that OJPL Publishing has opened a new Hoʻolele Leo Division. If you know of anyone that is looking for a platform to host their book and sound related activities, please contact ojplpublishing@ojpl.info.
