XML files must be retrieved before the digital media specialist takes the external hard drive from the Solo machine. A scheduled once-a-week extraction should do. Co-ordinate with the media specialist.

Retrieve Solo XML files

• open Filezilla on MAVIS workstation
  • Quickconnect to samma@192.168.1.148 (or whatever current IP address is)
  • make sure folder is correct
  • what is it? drive u:? need to check
  • if not correct, might need to change through FTP server on the Solo computer
  • make sure correct XML filter is being used
• Download xml files into IMPORT-EXPORT\Solo Success folder

Wait for files to be backed up on odb Import into MAVIS

• Use correct stylesheet
• Check Import
• Move xml file into imported folder

Enter post-migration metadata into online document

• Put component and carrier info into postMigration spreadsheet
